Description

Myrup Fly-in Estates received official approval for sub-division late in 2011 and by late in 2012 we had separate titles for the 32 individual Lots. The whole airfield is registered with Landgate (Australia) as a Survey Strata Plan 60076, which contains 13 individual Hangar only Lots varying from 130 to 600 m2 in size and 18 Residential Lots suitable for Homes and Hangars varying in size 2,500 to 4,000 m2 and 1 Lot (900 m2)suitable to have an Accommodation building. The remainder of the 117 hectares is Common Property (which includes the 2 Runways, taxiways, roads and park lands) and owned by all of the title holders in the ratio of the varying size of the Lots.

Each Lot is serviced by Road and Taxiway access.
240 volt single phase power is connected to each Lot.
Residential Lots and ablution systems from hangars require Anaerobic, 4 tank, treatment units to be installed to handle the effluent. This treated water is then retained on each Lot for lawns and /or shrubs.
The whole of the Common Property is maintained by the Strata Body which consists of a Committee of seven proprietors elected each year at an AGM. The committee also is responsible for the By laws are adhered to by all Owners. Lots are levied to provide the funding for maintenance and upkeep of the machinery which is Common Property.

Building plans must be referred to the Strata Body for approval which includes aesthetically pleasing appearance and that once a building is commenced, it must be to the lock up stage within 18 months. Hangars and sheds must be fully enclosed and Colorbond sheeting must be used.
Pets (controlled) are allowed but not large animals like horses.

Included on the Common Property is a Terminal building with toilets and showers available to the itinerant public. It is also home, with offices and kitchen and social area, to the very active Esperance Aero Club and also houses the tractor and slashers. Flight training also occurs using this facility for the briefing and theory study. There is an area of flat ground for a public plane park off of Taxiway Alpha, adjacent to the Terminal, suitable to take pegs to be hammered in for tie downs.


There are 10 Residential lots and the Accommodation Lot available as of January 2018.
